Call of Duty 2 arrived yesterday & since then I have been staring at the status of the order online. after 12 hours of 'Packing' and 14 hours of Processing I saw it finally emerged into the Posted state at 08:17 this morning. Beep Beep Beep .. [Split Screens]
I chased Parcelforce as soon as I received the relevant information & it was indeed in transit. 2 train stops away in Aldershot and then at 09:56 I got the call. 'A package has arrived in reception that they would like you to sign for'. I signed, had a little break staring at the snow wondering if should be at home hanging out on the balcony spying on my neighbours who're praying for an angel to come & change their miserable world ;-) & then lubbered the box upstairs back into the office.
You can imagine my alacrity to unwrap the packaging & lick it as I do when a dvd arrives, yet I have not. I have coolly, calmly shuffled the box under my desk at work, entirely without incident. It is pretty certain my evening will be spent shooting random soldiers this evening, thats when I'll be yelling ... NOT WITHOUT INCIDENT!!!!
After a good weekend to freshen me up I've finally got a chair, this means I finally have the means to sit comfortably at the computer in my room, & so this webspace of mine can now get the TLC that it deserves. This salutary development is a sweet investment for sure. I am proud. In other news I was walking around as I do (on play.com) & I slipped dropping my credit card, next thins I know I realised I had ordered an X-Box 360, ah well, I guess I'll have to invest some time in to using it. The 1st mod chip is in its testing phase so it seems like it won't be long before ... well I'll shed no more light on this one. You know what I mean.
I've ordered Call of Duty 2 and Quake 4 for starters, any recommendations for the main course? For Desert I think I may be investing in the 'live' playing & so a headset is inevididable. Word on the street is House of the Dead 4 is also in the pipeline so I guess a gun will soon follow. My lame excuse for this credit card slipping is that I have now been working at royalblue for a full one year today. Woohooo??! *shrugs* .. Yea, No, Maybe .. Not really?! Time does fly by, thats for sure.
On a non-related topic: this evening I shall be practising the badminton kata some more, a good hour of singles vs. some other royalblue types, which means I'll be coughing up my guts and well hopefully I may even survive to tell the tale.
You have our demands - peace out!
