Christian Bale turns 32

"Well done Mr. Bale, Ensure you live long & entertain us geeks furthermore with kickass performances & mindless violence", said Mr. Ram as he practiced the Gun Kata in his orange t-shirt & blue pair dungarees. Some random then commented: "Always practicing, Cleric. Maybe that's why you're the best." Mr. Ram chased them with a chainsaw & yelled: "Maybe I'm just better." The gun katas do rule though.

Through analysis of thousands of recorded gunfights, the Cleric has determined that the geometric distribution of antagonists in any gun battle is a statistically predictable element. The gun kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly.

I learnt them through hours of badminton practice in the Himalayas, as you do when you've got a week off work. Upon my return I was confronted by the devil, who was actually just practice & then my spiritual father said: "You travelled the courts, now you must journey inwards, to what you really fear, it's inside you, there is no turning back. Your charming good looks are not your fault. Your training is nothing. The will is everything. If you make yourself more than just a man, if you devote yourself to an ideal, you become something else entirely. Are you ready to begin?" & so it began, round round get around .. Women screaming: "You can't do this! You cannot do this!" & me calmly saying: "Tetragrammaton. There's nothing we can't do" as I swayed my badminton rackets into their faces .. m0stly'

"Infidel! Architect of blasphemy! Anti-God! Your punishment will be unsurpassed! Your suffering will be LEGEND!" -- Qztr, Negation

Quoting aside, I have to say I disagree :P Whilst I've seen less than a quarter of his films, the 5 I have seen I've thoroughly enjoyed. There are far worse actors out there, some of whom have achieved far greater success.

Am I to take it you weren't particularly impressed with Batman Begins then?
