Indeed Stressful

  By _ram-jaane' on August 5, 2005 10:44 PM | 5 Comments

Had a hell of a fortnight at work. For the first time in my 5 & a bit months have I had this much on my head. The mischevious activities out of work I usually embark in have had to take a back seat as I've been losing sleep over problems & issues that don't even fall into my area of expertise. (Yes i do have one.) I've been dealing with issues that everybody else was fobbing off & taking no responsibility for. This has been increasing over the past month but I don't mind too much. Its when they have the cheek to pass you their dirty work & then play the role of 'i'm not trying to fob this off & i'd love to help' .. This pisses me off!!! In addition with one specific issue the client was also chasing as he required a result as soon as possible. I don't blame him as he only asked for updates & was fairly okay with my honesty, not pleased but not harsh.

On a side subject I haven't slept too well recently, possibly a side effect of the increased workload combined with 'other' worries, but on the brighter side my house in Leicester is in the process of being sold now, so I will soon be a multi hundred-airre (if thats a word, if it isn't it should be.) Started looking into getting a new TV that has been pending for a few months now. Need to actively look for another house to buy too. Possibly out of tiny Woking. Guildford?? Surbiton?? Wimbledon?? Kingston?? .. Any reasonable suggestions welcome.

Have you been to Surbiton, Wimbledon and Kingston? They're so... Londonish. Not that I'm biased towards Guildford or anything *cough* Pizzaman *cough*.

I had a friend who lived in Wimbledon- said it was a nightmare when the tennis was on.

You couldn't afford Kingston or Wimbledon, get some Night Nurse and damn ETP.

The filth of Fidessa, I don't think so.

If money is an issue, ask for a raise!

Either that or simply claim somebody elses home as your own, by right of power. This generally involves a fight to the death, and is perfectly legal as long as nobody finds out.

... & I'm not going to doubt for a moment that you've tested this theory, with your brother ofcourse, & then claim he left for a job in London & nobody ever sees him again ... all so that you can claim his room as your own ... smart move i admit, but I'm onto you!!!!
